Generating Visual Assets For Business (And Pleasure?)
A lot, a lot, a lot of entrepreneurs get stuck on how their baby looks. đź‘€
AI image asset generation has the potential to eliminate this trap that so many entrepreneurs fall into. Fiverr has a great guide to get started generating images to use as assets in the business, not just as neat accidents. Auto-GPT And Friends, All Aboard The Hype Train
Auto-GPT, like ChatGPT, has some of the fastest growth in users in its domain in history. Basically, Auto-GPT (and a whole family of related projects) use LLMs in a loop. You can start with a simple project like “do market research on waterpoof shoes”, which can’t be done in one step, and the tool will use LLMs (ex. GPT-3.5) to break that project into tasks and then try to do each task.
You can see why it would capture the imagination. But, at the moment, that’s 99% of what it’s doing. In practice these tools get stuck repeating the same action over and over again, or they just end without finishing the task, or they don’t have access to the right tools.
AI Will Make Your App For You (Eventually)
If you already know how to write software, you should 100% be adding AI to your workflow. If you don’t already know how to write software, but you want to learn, you should 100% be starting with AI. If you don’t know how to write software, and don’t want to, just wait 6-12 months.
I got started in Replit.com and followed a basic prompt to ask ChatGPT to create a little game in html, css, and javascript. I just pasted the code straight out of ChatGPT, into the editor, hit save, and it worked. 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Obviously it's not much. It's just "make a button that moves to a random spot when you click it." But I don't know how to write software and I only put like 10 minutes into it.
